Greenheck’s model BTDR-50 is a cable-operated radial blade balancing damper, also known as a bowtie damper. It’s designed for easy airflow adjustment at an air outlet or plenum neck. Available in steel in 6-, 8-, 10-, 12- and 15-inch diameters with pressure capacity up to 1 in. wg, operational velocity up to 1,600 fpm and a maximum temperature of 240 degrees F.
Ships factory-assembled with 3-foot cables for easy installation. Cable-operated dampers are easily adjusted via rotary cable actuation using either a nut driver or screwdriver. Ideal for applications where it’s difficult to get access to manually adjust the dampers and balance the airflow, such as through the face of a diffuser or grille.
